Antalya Airport (AYT) - Airport Development Concept Print

Introduction

In April 2007 a consortium consisting of Fraport and IC Ictas Holding has taken over the operation of terminal 1 and the domestic terminal at Antalya Airport. From 2009 the consortium (ICF) will also operate terminal 2. Within the operational contract, ICF agreed to carry out a long term development plan for Antalya Airport.

Results

Within the terminal development concept several options, to expand the existing terminal infrastructure, have been analysed in detail. This includes the setup of an extensive evaluation matrix taking into account the requirements from all stakeholders of the airport. On the other hand potential development concepts have been developed. These concepts included the original concept and another five options. The preferred options has been evaluated by setting up the final evaluation matrix and gathering the results.
For the preferred solution the detailed options for future usage concepts (international / domestic use) have been developed.
Furthermore for the new terminal, terminal 3, a detailed design of the contact aircraft stands has been created
